Welcome to my blog.

The Allotment Glutton is where I share allotment anecdotes, potting shed politics, plot experiments, harvests & seasonal Plot2Plate recipes for maximum exploitation of fruit and veg gluts.

My garden and allotment plots are based in St Leonards on Sea, near Hastings, East Sussex.

My blog updates are also on Twitter and Facebook.  Sign up on the contact page to receive a regular newsletter.

My recipe index will grow as produce is harvested from my plot, so check back regularly.

A Weekend for Grow Your Own Fans

By Angie, Mar 15 2013 10:00AM

As a family, we are off to visit the Edible Garden Show at Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire from 15-17th March.

I am keen to sit in on some of the Expert Talks, including Bob Flowerdew and James Wong. I have no doubt that Alys Fowler's slots will be popular at the weekend.

The children are keen to see the pig olympics and feed the goat kids if they get a chance.

I will post back a report when we return, complete with a picture or two!
