All tment Glutton
Welcome to my blog.
The Allotment Glutton is where I share allotment anecdotes, potting shed politics, plot experiments, harvests & seasonal Plot2Plate recipes for maximum exploitation of fruit and veg gluts.
My garden and allotment plots are based in St Leonards on Sea, near Hastings, East Sussex.
My blog updates are also on Twitter and Facebook. Sign up on the contact page to receive a regular newsletter.
My recipe index will grow as produce is harvested from my plot, so check back regularly.

Well, gardening in the UK is certainly becoming more challenging. Having spent a couple of days on the plot last week in bright sunshine, so warm that I took off my fleece whilst digging, I am now venturing out in snow boots today! I have turned on the frost free heater in the conservatory to prevent the summer bedding getting too cold. Apparently, the cold front currently affecting the UK may last until the end of March! Let's hope not.
Is there any snow where you are?? What are you doing to protect your precious seed sowings?
